Through this fast, God has revealed one thing to me…focus. So often we get distracted with the details of life. But when we do that, we miss the point of life. When we choose to focus on Christ every moment of every day, then not only does the point become clear; the details come into view as well.

In addition to showing me Isaiah 58, I believe the fast has shown me how to be less dependent on fast food or convenient food. It gives me more reasons to eat healthier choices and see the results.

It also gives me more time to read God’s word; to take my mind off of the detoxing mental pains of no caffeine.
